Oct 4 Run: Allegheny Cemetery

In celebration of the first Sunday in October and Fall colors we will run in Allegheny Cemetery this coming Sunday. Meet at the main gate on Penn (NOT Butler).

There will be a run to the run starting at Wilkins and Shady at 6:25 AM.

I am sure the 7AM runners had a nice jaunt around what was probably a pretty quiet Squirrel Hill. A group of us ran the Great Race mostly together - it certainly made the miles go faster for me. While it was chilly once we stopped running, the temperature for the race (cool and a little rainy) was perfect. After all the "eyes of the world on us" pressure of late last week, it was nice to be in just plain old Pittsburgh again.
