Sep 27 Run: Coffee Tree for those not running the Great Race

f you are not signed up for the Great Race and you want to run - meet at the Coffee Tree in Squirrel Hill at 7AM (the usual).We will have to wait for the following week to share personal G-20 stories. Anyone else wondering how fast they will be able to redeploy barricades in time for the Great Race?

We found our way through Highland Park without Joanne but we still missed her! Highland Park is yet another reason you have to love our city. We were particularly enamored by the reservoir this morning which was very calm, giving off a lake-like ambiance.
Coffee and cinnamon rolls at Tazza D'Oro was a great ending - despite the discussion off urine related topics. It is such a neighborly place with delicious coffee and home-made donuts and cinnamon rolls.

Paula the Brit described a beet root (beets to us Yanks) soup recipe while we were running which had us all salivating despite the difficulty of working with beets. She kindly sent it on:
