Sep 30 Run: Great Race/Coffee Tree

Next Sunday is the Great Race which begins at 9:30 AM this year. For those of you who would like to join up with the group to run, Pam Murray welcomes all those running to convene at her house around 9AM (earlier if you want coffee). She lives at 2200 Beechwood - about 1/2 between the start line and Colfax school on the big bend.

For those not running, meet at the Coffee Tree at the usual time, 7:00 AM. Those who turn up can choose their own run.

Yet another lovely sunny morning run up and down the hills in Schenley Park - the weather has been quite amazing these past few months - perfect for park running. We started a conversation about the upcoming Jewish Holiday, Sukkot, on the run for which Pam provided "just-in-time" information from her Blackberry once we were at the Coffee Tree. Although all of us were certainly aware of this kind of ubiquitous connectivity it was still a bit wondrous.
