Continuing our effort to get all those park runs in before it is too dark to negotiate the tree roots and rocks, we will meet at the Wendy Bennett Trailhead at the corner of the Boulevard of the Allies and Bartlett this coming Sunday.
Al and Julie brought along their lovely dog Chloe for a romp through a misty Frick Park this morning (she romped the rest of us just tried to get up the hills with dignity). It was the first really cool morning - a precursor of that most lovely season, Fall. Several of us were glad we found our gloves.
At coffee we missed Wendy - Karen needed fashion advice and very few of us at the table were qualified to give an informed opinion about whether her suit was appropriate for an upcoming meeting with Sandra Day O'Connor. Lest you thought we only talked about surface concerns we did discuss the role of the judiciary branch in Pennsylvania and at the federal level.
