The never-ending snow and ice did not deter the group from its appointed rounds on the Strip on Sunday, as we crossed and re-crossed on some slippy bridges. A mysterious turtle on a historical medallion at the Point was later investigated and found to be a symbol of Native American influences, or perhaps just a turtle.
