Next Sunday, Elaine will lead a three river's run but because Point State Park is closed we will start the run a little uptown at the Benedum Theater which is on 7th Avenue, between Penn and Liberty.
For those who want to "run to the run", meet at Phipps Conservatory at 6:10 (run starts promptly at 6:15).
I missed the run due to an excess of Bulgarian dancing but was able to attend the convivial and informative Wendy Bennett Celebration Brunch at Roye's house. Particularly memorable was Susan Hunt's dramatic re-telling of the apocryphal Naked Biker story - complete with dark undertones, complimented by the many product and contractor recommendations. From this rich exchange was born the new EERunners motto: "So many decisions could have been bad" Thank-you to Roye for that pithy statement and for graciously hosting this gathering.
